Faith-based nonprofits require a special approach, and working with them is one of my favorite things to do. Whether your nonprofit organization is a house of worship or a charity founded on religious principles, I am pleased to offer an experience tailored to your religious values.
I am most well-versed in Christian and Jewish scripture and traditions, but have worked with an array of faiths in my practice. To illustrate some of the ways I am able to serve faith-based organizations, here are just a few sample tasks that clients have asked me to do over the past few years:
- Deliver a board member training based on legal principles and best practices, with practical examples related to passages from the New Testament.
- Work with a board to decrease bottlenecking in leadership workflow by coaching on principles from Exodus.
- Manage a post-embezzlement recovery process by balancing legal obligations with board members’ religious beliefs on forgiveness.
- Help to resolve conflict in a dysfunctional board that was close to litigation by refocusing interpersonal conflict into belief in purpose.
If you need legal advice or customized training for your faith-based organization, please get in touch to discuss your needs and goals.
Please note: I provide a free 30-minute consultation, but for ethical reasons, I cannot provide you with any legal advice until a fee agreement is signed. Contacting me does not create an attorney-client relationship.
